2025 Off-Season

LONDONDERRY LANCERS BOYS BASKETBALL OFF-SEASON 2025

SPORTSYOU APP INVITE: NXYU-78GV

MISSION STATEMENT
Our basketball program is built on a culture that prioritizes growth beyond the individual. We strive to develop transformational adults who embrace teamwork, leadership, and the deeper values of the game—where the program itself stands greater than self.

CORE VALUES
ACCOUNTABILITY – COMMITMENT – SELFLESSNESS – TOUGHNESS

COACHES COMMITMENT
Every player participating in off-season basketball will receive equal coaching attention and be challenged to reach their full potential.

Thursdays Starting 6/26 LHSSundays Starting 6/29 LHS
Group Workout 6:00-8:00 pmGroup Workout 8:30-10:00 am
Open run 10:00-11:00 am

Off-season basketball participation does not guarantee a spot in the winter program. At the same time, attendance at every event is not mandatory—we recognize the importance of balancing family, rest, work, and other sports commitments.

The off-season is where players make their greatest strides, building the skills necessary to excel at tryouts in December. Those who miss workouts will need to take personal initiative to develop these skills independently.

KING OF THE SUMMER COMPETITION

Embrace the off-season with a mindset focused on growth! Hard work—both on and off the court—can always outshine raw talent. This off-season challenge is designed to help you strengthen that growth mindset. Player participation will be evaluated using the rubric below. The player with the highest overall score at the end of the summer will be crowned the winner and receive a special prize!

  • Power Camp/Fitness (worth 25 points)
Players participating in Power Camp who attend 75% sessions will earn 25 points. Players who do not participate in Power Camp can log all fitness workouts and submit it online. A fitness workout is a 20+ minute workout consisting of weights and/or cardio. An online tracker will be provided.
  • Open Gyms (worth 50 points)
Players can earn up to 25 points by attending open gyms this summer on Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Reading Assignment & Roundtable Discussion (worth 15 points)
Players are recommended to buy the book “QBQ! The Question Behind the Question: Practicing Personal Accountability in business and in Life”, by John G. Miller. Players should read the book and can earn 15 points by participating in an end of summer discussion about the book.
  • Volunteer Work (worth 10 points)
More info to come on this section! Players will have a volunteer opportunity this summer.

Players should install the SportsYou App and reach out to Coach Jaryd with any questions.
